Calling all brides! Gosforth hotel to hold its first ever wedding fair

A luxurious hotel located in Gosforth has announced that they will be hosting their first ever wedding fair.

Great North Hotel, which is owned by North East’s leading hospitality company Malhotra Group PLC, will be inviting bridal couples along to their wedding event, which is named Great North Wedding Fair on Sunday, March 26.

The stylish hotel offers three wedding packages which start from £2,950. All of the packages include hire of the suite, reception drinks, three course wedding breakfast, DJ, LED dancefloor, evening buffet, red carpet and overnight accommodation for the bride and groom.

Attendees at Great North Wedding Fair will be given the opportunity to view the purpose-built luxury hotel’s facilities, including their Ouseburn Suite - where weddings at Great North Hotel are held.  The Ouseburn Suite is entirely self-contained, with its own private bar.

Other facilities available to view include; some of the hotel’s bedrooms including the Bulman Suite, which is designed for the bride and groom.

Attendees will also have a chance to meet various wedding suppliers including florists, cake makers, photographers and more. Experts will also be on hand to discuss wedding planning, honeymoons and more.

Bar and restaurant Three Mile is adjoined with Great North Hotel, and the hotel and bar are offering 10% off Sunday lunch to attendees on the day of the event.

During the event, entertainment will be held in the lobby area of Great North Hotel and in the bar area of Three Mile.

Sales manager Debbie Howe said: “Unfortunately, our opening was delayed by the pandemic, so this is the first opportunity we have had to really show the hotel off to wedding couples, and we are pulling out all the stops.”

She added: “Along with the chance to view the rooms and meet suppliers, couples will be able to see for themselves how well designed and accessible the hotel is. It’s in a great location and really is a perfect wedding choice.”
