Cirque The Greatest Show in Newcastle: “It really lived up to its name”
The incredible production performed at Newcastle’s Tyne Theatre and Opera House last weekend.

Created by performing arts production company, Entertainers, Cirque: The Greatest Show, really lived up to its name.
It truly was the greatest show, and the main reason for that is all of the talented individuals who performed in the jam-packed show.
Cirque: The Greatest Show combined musical theatre, comedy, acrobatics, circus performers and even more into their show, making for an unforgettable experience.
Let’s start with mime performer Christian Lee, who truly was the glue of the whole show. His performance told the story of his quest for a life in colour, which led to the amazing performances we were about to see.
But Christian’s character was more than a storyteller, as he also performed comedic skits, magic tricks and more - all without saying a word.

The three main vocalists, Max Fox (who is also the creative director of the show), Kristel Herrera and Ashley Lloyd, brought their extensive singing and theatre experience to the show and they absolutely left me in awe.
Between the three of them, they performed musical hits from the likes of Hairspray, The Greatest Showman, Rocketman, Moulin Rouge and more.
Joining them on stage were the rest of the multi-skilled cast, who dazzled us with brilliant choreography and of course, extraordinary circus acts.
Each individual who was part of Cirque: The Greatest Show brought their own unique talents, stage presence and skills to the production. All of those individuals combined made for a jaw-dropping and exceptionally entertaining evening.
I would give Cirque: The Greatest Show a certain 10/10, and would love to experience the show all over again.
