The most recent winner of Britain’s Got Talent, Viggo Venn has announced that he will be embarking on a UK tour of his comedy act.

The 34-year-old Norwegian comedian appeared on this year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent, auditioning in front of Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and brand-new BGT judge, Bruno Tonioli.

In his audition performance, Viggo Venn danced to the Daft Punk track One More Time while removing hi-vis jackets to reveal more hi-vis jackets underneath.

Despite receiving a red buzzer from Simon, who called Viggo Venn’s performance, “the most stupid act we’ve had this year”, the comedian managed to progress through each stage of the competition.

Viggo Venn amped up his performance for the live shows, introducing new styles of comedy to his routine, including miming and giant balloons.

Dancers, the audience, presenters Ant and Dec and the judges donned hi-vis jackets during his performance. Viggo Venn was eventually crowned the 2023 winner of Britain’s Got Talent.

While many Britain’s Got Talent viewers were pleased with the result, others were disappointed that the comedian had won over 13-year-old gymnastic dancer Liliana Clifton and 14-year-old magician Cillian O’Connor.

Since his win earlier this month, Viggo Venn has now announced a UK tour for 2024, which will see him perform in Newcastle in February.
