‘7 Days’ singer Craig David has announced a UK tour for 2025, stopping off at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena in May. 

The British singer-songwriter who recently appeared on the final episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway announced his “Commitment Tour” on Monday, April 29 via social media and his mailing list.

Taking to Instagram, David wrote: “UK ARENA TOUR FEBRUARY 2025. I’m so excited to announce my ‘Commitment Tour’ is coming to the UK next year💫 I can’t wait to see you all there, this one’s going to be beyond a vibe🔥✨Head to the link in my bio to sign up to the mailing list to get access to the presale 🎫”.

As well as Newcastle, David will be performing in Leeds, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Brighton, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth and London.

Who is Craig David? 

Craig David is a 42-year-old singer-songwriter, who rose to fame in 1999, after featuring on the Artful Dodger’s Re-Rewind at the age of 18-years-old. 

David went on to have chart-topping hits such as 7 Days, Fill Me In and Walking Away. His debut album Born To Do It, achieved a number one spot on the Official Albums Chart.

After some time away from the music industry, David returned in 2016, with tracks such as When The Bassline Drops and Nothing Like This. 

David has collaborated with artists such as Sting, Big Narstie, Wes Nelson, MNEK and many more.

He is also known for his Ibiza Rocks residency, where he performs his ‘TS5’ set.

David will be performing in Newcastle as part of his “Commitment Tour” on Wednesday, May 5 2025.

How to get tickets for Craig David’s Commitment Tour?

Pre-sale tickets will be available to purchase from Wednesday, May 1 and 10am, and general admission tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 3 at 10am.

It is currently unknown how much tickets will cost, but can be bought on the above dates from ticket websites such as Ticketmaster.

Who will be supporting Craig David on tour?

David announced that supporting him on tour will be Fame Academy alumni Lemar who had hits with If There’s Any Justice and It’s Not That Easy in the early noughties. Lemar also appeared on The Masked Singer UK last year. As “Cricket”, Lemar came in third place, behind Alex Brooker as “Bigfoot” and Danny Jones as “Piranha”.
