DJ Schak announced as entertainment for Newcastle Euro 2024 fanzone
The DJ will hopefully offer the backing tracks to a historic night.
Following a rollercoaster of a group stage campaign and two tough knockout fixtures before a dramatic semi final against the Netherlands, England have reached the Euro 2024 final.
Taking place this Sunday, the final will see Gareth Southgate’s squad face off against Spain in England’s first major tournament final outside of their home nation after the 1966 World Cup and 2020 European Championships both took place at Wembley.
Fanzones across the city are ready and tickets are going quickly, but a major Newcastle fanzone is looking to add an extra dimension to the matchday atmosphere by bringing in a top local DJ.
Schak, who has appeared at various major events in the city such as matches at St James Park and huge Town Moor music festivals, has been announced as part of the entertainment for the huge Sunday night at NX’s fanzone on Westgate Road.
The venue has confirmed Schak will be performing before kick off and throughout half time.
NX’s fanzone has previously shown every England game on a huge screen in the Westgate Road venue’s main room and this weekend is no different, with tickets selling quickly.
Early bird, first release and second release tickets have all already sold out with the final release now on sale through the venue’s website.
When is England’s Euro 2024 final?
The fixture will take place on Sunday, July 14 in Berlin. Kick off it 8pm BST.
