Dog cafe seen on Dragon’s Den to take over Newcastle

Bring your pooch to this pup-tacular event!

Dragon’s Den hopefuls Anusha and James of Pop+Bark dog events will be bringing their dog cafes to Newcastle.

Pop+Bark are known for their themed events for dogs, and their Newcastle event will be 90s themed. Owners and their dogs can expect a 90s soundtrack, and will be encouraged to dress in typical 90s wear.

Pop+Bark events also have unique experiences for dogs to enjoy such as a Puppicino Bar, a Pupcorn Bar, and a Doggy Boutique.

Breeds welcome at the event are Cockapoos, Dachshund, Pugs and Frenchies, with breed specific time slots for each.

A Daschund Cafe will begin at 11:20, Cockapoo Cafe will take place at 12:40, Frenchie Cafe at 2pm and Pug Cafe at 3:20.

The event is fully inclusive to all humans, and you do not need to bring your own dog to attend the event.

Anushka of Pop+Bark said: “Dragons’ Den was an amazing experience and we feel honoured to have been chosen to pitch our business to the investors. We certainly had fun convincing them how much fun our events are and although we didn’t get investment, they loved the concept and I’m sure we’ll be seeing all of them and their dogs at an event soon.

Bring your dachshund, pug, frenchie or cockapoo for a fantastic socialisation experience, lots of fun photo opportunities, treats and the chance to meet fellow dog owners in the local area. We also welcome dog lovers without their own dog to come along, great if you’ve lost your own dog or aren’t able to have a dog at home.”

The event will take place at Revolucion de Cuba on Sunday, April 16. To purchase tickets please visit here.
