Eldon Square to host ‘egg-citing’ Easter activities in partnership with local children’s charity

Newcastle’s top shopping destination, Eldon Square is hosting exciting Easter activities, in their newly opened Community Quarter.

Families are invited to Eldon Square to take part in ‘egg-citing’ Easter festivities, which will be taking place on Good Friday, March 29 from 11am to 3pm.

The Easter event at Eldon Square will be hosted by Newcastle based children’s charity, The Children’s Foundation, in a bid to raise funds for the vital work they carry out to ensure the wellbeing of children across the North East.

Susan Jones, Fundraising Manager at The Children’s Foundation, commented: “We are thrilled to bring this Easter celebration to Eldon Square's Community Quarter. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, have fun, and create lasting memories.”

Family-friendly activities available to take part in at Eldon Square on Good Friday include traditional fairground game Hook a Duck, as well as Easter Arts and Crafts and the Easter Egg Bran Tub.

A minimum donation of £3 per child is kindly requested to participate in the activities, with contributions going towards The Children’s Foundation, to improve the lives of children in the North East. 

Donations can be made via cash collection, contactless payment and a QR code for digital donations.
