Every Greggs in the North East where you can try the brand's new fish finger sandwich

This month Greggs announced they would begin rolling out a new menu item to keep the bakery’s options to the public fresh - although these are only available in certain stores.

The new items are based around the British staple of fish finger sandwiches, with three variations on the national favourite.

These are sandwiches with either tomato sauce or mayo as well as a classic mayo fish finger wrap, all of which were added to some local menus on Thursday, May 23.

To celebrate the launch of the trial, Greggs opened its first fish and chip shop on Whitley Bay’s promenade, with South Shields podcaster and television presenter Rosie Ramsey.

Much like the introduction of previous new additions, Greggs are slowly bringing in the three fish finger sandwich options with an initial focus on the North East.
