Although the relationship is yet to be confirmed by the pair and could turn out to be just a false rumour, fans of the pair are already discussing the possible pairing on Twitter.

One fan mentioned that The 1975 have a song called She’s American, while Taylor has a song named London Boy. The fan commented: “Matty Healy and Taylor Swift have the opportunity to do the funniest thing possible.”

Taylor and Matty have been linked since meeting in 2014, reportedly maintaining a friendship since then.

Taylor surprised The 1975 fans, when she appeared on stage at their London O2 concert on January 12 of this year.
