In under a week, one of the most exciting bars in Newcastle will open its doors to the public.
NQ64 arrives on Tyneside after success in other parts of the UK and will bring its plethora of games alongside unique cocktails in a vibrant venue.
The gaming haven will be open to the public on Friday, August 5 and NewcastleWorld was invited down early for a sneak preview.
The swanky venue on Pilgrim Street is unlike any other bar on the busy Newcastle nightlife scene.
Multiple floors of games, including timeless classics Pac-Man, Mario Kart, Guitar Hero and more are adorned with neon and apocalyptic designs.
Despite having not previously arrived in Newcastle, the chain's co-founder is a Geordie.
Matthew Robson said: “Being a born and bred Geordie, opening in Newcastle is particularly special for me, and my mum!
"I hope NQ64 will bring a different offering to the city.
"We specialise in retro gaming and combine it with a banging drinks selection with a backdrop of classic hip hop tunes. See you at the bar!”
