Four Quarters to host ‘spooktacular’ Halloween event based on popular TV series

The Newcastle arcade bar, will pay homage to the US television series, What We Do In The Shadows.

Newcastle arcade bar Four Quarters are set to host a ‘spooktacular’ Halloween event, with a What We Do In The Shadows takeover, taking place on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.

Gamers will be able to sip on a selection of Halloween-themed cocktails, as they enjoy the atmosphere of the bar which is being transformed to pay homage to the iconic US television series What We Do In The Shadows.

The event will include screenings of the hit series, alongside non-stop music and endless games.

Halloween-themed cocktails will include the Burial, which is a fruity combination of Raspberry Absolut, cranberry juice, elderflower liqueur, lemon, topped with Coke and garnished with raspberries.

There will also be the Updog cocktail, which is a mixture of Beefeater Blood Orange Gin, cranberry juice, orange juice, lemon and a shot of Grenadine, topped with Watermelon Red Bull.

Those attending the event are encouraged to dress up as their favourite character from What We Do In The Shadows, with prizes up for grabs for the best dressed.

Four Quarters offer a range of over 30 classic games, including Time Crisis 3, Sega Rally, Street Fighter 2, Guitar Hero, and pinball machines.

There are also a selection of retro consoles to choose from, including N64, Gamecube, and PS2. All of the machines at Four Quarters run on US Quarters which can be purchased for £2 for 4 or 7 for £15.

Four Quarters is located on Dean Street in Newcastle, and is open from 4pm until 11pm, Monday to Thursday, 3pm until 12am on Fridays, 12pm until 12am on Saturdays, and 12pm until 10pm on Sundays.
