Rachel Mee, from Newcastle also owned her own business named Rachel Mee Crystal Creations, where she would make crystal dresses, bikinis and more.

She gave birth to her first child, a little boy named Kyro in March of this year. The Go Fund Me pages have been set up to ensure the child has money set for his future, as well as helping with the cost of Rachel’s funeral.

The first Go Fund Me page is titled Rachel Mee’s funeral and to help baby Kyro and has been organised by Chris Coppen. It was created only a day ago, but has so far raised £4,404, with a £10,000 goal. So far, 249 people have donated. The organiser Chris Coppen wrote: “I’ve been asked from the family of Rachel to set a Go Fund Me up as there have been so many messages paying respects and asking how they can help. This page will help toward the cost of Rachel’s funeral and any associated costs, anything else left over will go towards baby kyro’s future. Any donation is greatly appreciated by the family.”

Friends and fans of Rachel’s sent words of support on the Go Fund Me page. One person named Robert White wrote: “Blessed to call you a friend. You have left a hole in my heart. Goodnight, God bless.” Another person, named Jenny Ervin wrote: “I did not have the pleasure of meeting you Rachel, but I’ve had the pleasure of hearing wonderful things about you. I feel completely saddened by the news of your passing and my heart aches for your son. RIP you perfect angel.”

The second fundraiser set up has been titled Kyro’s future, and has raised £175 from six donations. Again, it was only set up yesterday, and the organisers hope to raise £5,000 for the young boy. It has been organised by Claire Robinson, who wrote: “This Christmas will be Kyro’s first, and devastatingly his mummy will not be there. We are all so saddened with this devastating news, how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl.”

She continued: “We feel that if we can raise some funds for Kyro’s future just to take a little stress away from Rachel’s family and to help in some way. Or to even give Kyro a little head start in life raising some funds in memory of his beautiful mummy.”
