Gateshead Glasshouse promises all treats and no tricks as Halloween plans announced

Gateshead’s Glasshouse venue has announced plans for the site over the Halloween period, and there is plenty for families to enjoy.

The music venue and community site, which was known as the Sage until earlier in September 2023, has announced two Halloween-themed events to get music fans from Tyneside and beyond.

Firstly, Royal Northern Sinfonia and Chorus of Royal Northern Sinfonia will take to the venue’s Sage One room alongside special guest conductor Ben Palmer.

The groups will be playing the full soundtrack to Disney’s hit Halloween film Hocus Pocus, timing their performances to match the film which will be played on a large screen at the same time.

The show will take place on the evening of Wednesday, October 25.

Tickets for the two hour show cost between £10 and £46 with tickets available to book online now.

The spooky shows will return on the night of Halloween itself with the venue’s house band, the Royal Northern Sinfonia and guest conductor Ben Palmer.

The group will be performing the full soundtrack of Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller Psycho alongside the 1960s film.

Tickets are currently on sale online for the Tuesday evening show and are priced at £18.
