Gaucho Newcastle announce partnership with Newcastle Falcons

Newcastle premium steak restaurant, Gaucho have announced a partnership with rugby team, Newcastle Falcons.

The renowned Argentine restaurant which opened its Newcastle location earlier this year, has announced the new partnership as the Premiership Rugby Cup kicked off.

As a way of showing their appreciation of the Newcastle rugby club and the rugby community in the North East, Gaucho will be offering a special discount of 25% off on their à la carte menu to all Newcastle Falcons season ticket holders, for the next two seasons.

Assistant General Manager of Gaucho Newcastle, Dom Jackson, who is an avid rugby fan himself, said: "As a huge Newcastle Falcons supporter, this partnership means the world to me and our entire team at Gaucho Newcastle. We are thrilled to be joining forces with the incredible Newcastle Falcons, bringing together the thrill of the game and the culinary excellence that Gaucho is known for. We can’t wait to introduce Gaucho Newcastle to a new audience from Newcastle Falcons and welcome them to dine and celebrate with us throughout the seasons."

To celebrate the announcement of the partnership between Gaucho and Newcastle Falcons, the restaurant hosted a grand entrance launch event on Wednesday, September 6. Special guests in attendance included Newcastle Falcons Club Owner Semore Kurdi, as well as Newcastle Falcons players Tom Penny, Callum Chick and Matias Orlando, along with many other people who play an important role as part of the club.

Rebecca Thompson, Senior Commercial Manager of the Newcastle Falcons, shares in the excitement, stating, “This new partnership with Gaucho Restaurants builds on what is already set to be an exciting start to the season for all of us at the club. The 25% discount on Gaucho’s delicious cuisine is a fantastic perk for our season ticket holders ahead of the new campaign and it’s brilliant to finally be able to shout about it.”

The event also showcased Gaucho Newcastle’s brand-new entrance on Market Street, which has been in the works since before their official opening in March.

The construction process involved sourcing stone from the same quarry in Durham used in its original construction back in the late 1830s.
