Some of the most iconic celebrities to come from the North East, came together to celebrate the wedding of an industry friend.
In what is likely to be the most star-studded wedding of the year, celebrity publicist Simon Jones married his now husband, Rich, in The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London.
Jones’ clients include Geordie celebrity royalty, including presenters Ant and Dec, Girls Aloud member and TV personality Cheryl, and South Shields popstars formerly of Little Mix, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, as well as many other big names.
Our Geordie faves were all in attendance at the wedding, and were seen to be enjoying themselves in many of the photos and videos uploaded to social media by the celebrity guests.
Perrie Edwards, who is currently working on her debut solo music, was given an incredibly special role in the wedding, as she performed a cover of Celine Dion’s 1999 track That’s The Way It is, alongside Myleene Klass on piano.

But the music didn’t end there, as at the evening reception, more singers performed, including this year’s UK entry for Eurovision, Mae Muller, Louise Redknapp, and American rapper Eve.
Geordie icon Cheryl could be seen dancing along to Eve’s performance, wearing a gorgeous floor-length blue and gold floral gown.
Perrie’s former bandmate in Little Mix and fellow Sanddancer, Jade Thirlwall was seen wearing an orange dress, singing and dancing along to Mae Muller’s Eurovision song, I Wrote A Song, with Cheryl’s band mate and best friend, Kimberly Walsh.
Finally, Ant and Dec were briefly spotted in the background of a social media video, enjoying a performance from former Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK contestants, alongside their respective wives.
