Cheryl has received praise from fans and theatre critics for her role, while the show itself, which is directed by Matthew Dunster, has become an award winning sensation.

Many celebrities have gone to see the show, including Katie Piper. The newest celebrity to sit in the audience was none other than Cheryl’s Girls Aloud band mate Nadine Coyle.

The pair reunited backstage, and Nadine posted an image of the pair smiling together to her Instagram Stories. She gave her opinion on the show and Cheryl’s performance writing: “Last night I got to see @cherylofficial play Jenny in the west end. She is a natural up there! So great to see!! @maxdundas told me before we went it was a little jump scary!! Well!! That was an understatement I’m still not over it today!!”

She continued: “Well done Cheryl good luck with the rest of the run but you don’t need it! To anyone going I suggest no liquids or you & everyone around you will be drenched”.
