Geordie reality stars Vicky Pattison and Amber Gill to take part in new TV show

Two Geordie stars of reality television will be coming together for a brand-new social experiment for E4. 

Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison and Love Island’s Amber Gill will be joining Nick Grimshaw and Pete Wicks for a brand-new show heading to our screen this month, named The Underdog: Josh Must Win.

The show will see a brand-new cast of reality television hopefuls compete in a popularity contest named The Favourite (hosted by Nick Grimshaw). However, all is not what it seems as the celebrities will work behind the scenes to ensure one particular contestant “Josh” must win the show, without blowing their cover. 

It is currently under wraps of how the show will play out, however it has been said that “Josh” will also be unaware of the celebrities being the mastermind behind the scenes. 

Vicky Pattison and Amber Gill have been chosen to appear on the show due to appearing on and winning reality television shows, while also being huge fans of other reality television shows.

Wallsend-born Vicky Pattison rose to fame after appearing in the first series of Geordie Shore in 2011. She remained a main cast member on the show until 2014. 

Following her departure from Geordie Shore, Vicky appeared on many other reality shows, most notably winning I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here in 2015.

Amber Gill became a reality television success after appearing on and winning Love Island in 2019.

The Underdog: Josh Must Win will be available to watch on E4 and stream on Channel 4.
