This week’s Geordie Shore episode saw cast members Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan-Blyth, Sophie Kasaei, Jay Gardner, Ricci Guarnaccio and James Tindale arrive in Portugal for a group holiday - organised as part of the reunion. The beautiful villa boasted a pool, gym, huge dining area, many bedrooms and much more to accommodate the cast members.

The group reminisced on previous group holidays they had together during their time on Geordie Shore, and continued to express disappointment at the fact Gaz Beadle and Vicky Pattison decided not to return to the show.

In an emotional moment, while sunbathing on sunloungers and chatting, James Tindale appeared to tear up at Charlotte’s pregnancy. He said: “Whenever I look over and I see Charlotte’s bump, and that she’s got this life growing inside of her, it does make me a bit emotional.” The pair had a hug, where Charlotte exclaimed: “You’re going to make me cry as well!”

We then saw the arrival of more Geordie Shore cast members including Bethan Kershaw, Abbie Holborn and Nathan Henry. Nathan, who had just recently gone through a break-up with ex-boyfriend Declan Doyle, said: “This holiday couldn’t have come at a better time for me, because I’ve just split up with my boyfriend and I want to get over him.” However, romance was in the air as Abbie and Jay were drawn to each other, as were Bethan and Ricci, leading to both couples sharing a kiss in the nightclub.

Geordie Shore will continue to air on MTV, Now TV and Paramount Plus on Tuesdays.
