Episode three of the Geordie Shore reunion series aired last night, and there was much to digest from the show.

We saw the return of Ricci Guarnaccio, who first appeared in series two of the show until his departure in 2013 in series five - to which he explained he was “kicked out”.

Ricci, who was engaged to former Geordie Shore cast member Vicky Pattison for most of his time on the show, entered the reunion party in a dramatic way.

Charlotte, Marnie, Holly and Sophie gathered everyone together to announce a super star DJ, with many expecting to see Sophie’s ex and former Geordie Shore star Joel Corry appear, but instead were shocked to find Ricci Guarnaccio take to the decks. Chloe Ferry said: “Not gonna lie, I’m a bit disappointed. I thought that was gonna be Joel Corry, and I wanted a selfie for my Instagram.”

The show also focussed on many exes meeting again for the first time in a long time, which made for a fair few awkward encounters. Holly Hagan-Blyth and Kyle Christie, who were together for around three years and had quite a tumultuous relationship on the show, politely chatted and introduced their partners.

While things got slightly more awkward between ex’s Marnie Simpson and Aaron Chalmers and their respective partners Talia and Casey. “She’s moved on, she’s got kids. I’ve moved on, I’ve got kids. To me there is no problem that we are in the same room,” Aaron said to the camera. However, when it came to them interacting with each other, it became very tense and uncomfortable with Marnie confessing to the camera, “maybe me and Talia shouldn’t speak.”

However, the biggest drama when it came to exes, was between James Tindale and Roxy Hamedi, who dated on the show in 2021. The pair had an explosive argument, leaving Roxy in tears as James branded her a “liar”, and she branded him a “cheater.”

The show was filled with drama throughout, and it is still not over! Catch Geordie Shore on Tuesday nights on MTV, Now TV and Paramount Plus.
