Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby becomes ‘boss’ of brand-new Aussie Shore

Reality television star Charlotte Crosby who got her start on Newcastle-based MTV reality show Geordie Shore has returned to the franchise in a ‘boss’ role. 

33-year-old Charlotte was part of the original cast line-up that launched Geordie Shore in 2011. During her time on the show, Charlotte was known for her wild ways, silly commentary, and on/off relationship with fellow cast member Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle.

Charlotte remained a huge part of the show until she departed in 2016, featuring in twelve of the original series over all. Charlotte left the show after her relationship with Gaz came to an end outside of the show, and she sadly suffered an ectopic pregnancy.

However, Charlotte returned to the franchise in 2022 for Geordie Shore: The Reunion, which followed ex-cast mates as they moved on to new chapters in their lives. 

Charlotte’s story on Geordie Shore: The Reunion mostly followed her pregnancy and birth of her first child Alba Jean, and her relationship with the father of her child, Jake Ankers.

Charlotte is one of the most successful cast members to come from Geordie Shore, and has appeared on various other television show including; Celebrity Big Brother, Ex On The Beach, Celebs Go Dating, I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here (Australia), The Masked Singer (Australia) and many more.

She has also had many of her own television shows including; The Charlotte Crosby Experience on TLC, The Charlotte Show on MTV and Charlotte In Sunderland on BBC. 

Outside of television work, Sunderland-born Charlotte has also had two best-selling autobiographies, fitness DVDs, and is the host of her own podcast named Charlotte Crosby Always On. 

Now, Charlotte has announced that she is returning to the Shore franchise once again, taking on the role of ‘House Boss’, of the brand-new series Aussie Shore. 

Charlotte made the announcement via Instagram, where she shared images and videos of filming the new series, which is set in Cairns, Australia.

Who ever put me in charge of 10 of THE CRAZIEST Aussies I’ve ever met needs a pay rise LOL because this is the most chaotic concoction there’s ever been! 🤪 I’m still having to pinch myself in here in Australia my most favourite place on earth and I AM THE BOSS! I’m the Aussie version of ANNA! LMAO. @paramountplusau

Fellow Geordie Shore cast mates congratulated Charlotte on the new role in the Instagram comments, including Jay Gardner, Sophie Kasaei and Ricci Guarnaccio.
