Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle gives behind-the-scenes gossip after snubbing reunion

Geordie Shore legend Gaz Beadle has opened up about his time on the MTV Newcastle-based reality show on social media, after he previously snubbed reunion. 

Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle joined the original cast of Geordie Shore in 2011 for its very first series, and remained a main cast member in the show until 2017, leaving after 15 series in total. 

Gaz’s story on Geordie Shore mostly focussed on his on and off relationship with fellow cast member Charlotte Crosby, his ‘womanising’ ways, and ‘bromance’ with another fellow cast member Scott Timlin. 

However, he decided to depart from the legendary show, which focused on the lives of young partiers in Newcastle, to settle down with his then girlfriend Emma McVey, as they got ready to welcome their first child together. 

Following his departure from the main show, Gaz appeared in Geordie Shore OGs, a spin-off version, which followed his life with Emma (who he married in 2021), and fatherhood, as he and Emma welcomed a second child.

Gaz (alongside Vicky Pattison), was noticeably missing from the reunion series of the show. Despite being a huge part of the main series, Gaz rejected the invitation to join his former cast mates in the spin-off series. 

Following his split from Emma in 2023, Gaz has recently begun to talk about his time on Geordie Shore, taking to video sharing platform TikTok to answer questions. 

In his first video uploaded to TikTok, Gaz answered the question: “What did you do before Geordie Shore?”, in which he answered: “I did a three or four year apprenticeship in wall and floor tiling. I’m actually a fully qualified tiler.”

However, he joked he wouldn’t have a clue on how to tile now. He also explained that he worked in Malia, and at a call centre in Newcastle for Sky before his time on the show. 

In other videos, he answered questions such as “How long was filming for Geordie Shore?”, “Who was worse for fighting, the girls or the boys?”, and “How did you apply for Geordie Shore?”

According to The Sun, Gaz has recently begun a new relationship with professional golf player Charley Hull. The pair were spotted together at Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club in Alnwick, Northumberland.
