Marnie joined the cast of Geordie Shore in 2013, after previously appearing very briefly in series one as she is the cousin of original cast member Sophie Kasaei.

The 31-year-old became a main cast member and remained on the show until 2018, before returning alongside many familiar faces for Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series last year.

The second series of the reunion series began filming earlier this summer, as the cast jetted to Cyprus for a holiday, however filming was axed after cast members became ill and had to return home to the UK.

According to Marnie, who spoke to fans via an Instagram Q&A, that was not the only drama that has gone on behind the scenes of the show, as she said “there was a lot of chaos.”

Marnie was asked by fans if there were “fallouts” in the new series of Geordie Shore, and Marnie said: “Sometimes people just grow apart”.

Another fan asked who she was closest to from the show, and Marnie named cousin Sophie, Chloe Ferry, Nathan Henry and Chantelle Connelly - noticeably missing out Charlotte Crosby who she had been close with previously.

Charlotte addressed the drama herself on her own Instagram Q&A, as she said: “I would go as far to say there were a bunch of misunderstandings. One very silly argument that escalated, but a lot of confusion I think overall. At this age you don’t fall out with people intentionally, you kinda just have stuff going on and through those times friendships are tested.”

It is currently unknown when the second series of Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series will air.
