We all know Joel Corry for being one of the UK’s greatest DJs and music producers. He first rose to fame in the music industry after releasing his thirteenth single, Sorry in 2019 featuring Hayley May on vocals.

From then, Joel’s career exploded - especially once he released the single Head & Heart in 2020 featuring MNEK. The track shot to the number one spot in the official UK charts, and remained in place for six weeks.

The talented DJ has since released more amazing dance tracks, and has collaborated with the likes of Becky Hill, Tom Grennan, Mabel, David Guetta and Charli XCX.

What many people may not know is that Joel Corry’s first taste of fame was in 2012, when he frequently appeared on Newcastle-based reality television show, Geordie Shore.

Joel appeared on the MTV show alongside his then girlfriend, Sophie Kasaei from South Shields who was a regular cast member living in the Geordie Shore house. Joel made various appearances until 2017 - usually performing DJ sets at the Geordie Shore house parties. Joel and Sophie split up in 2017 after six years together.

On the most recent series of Geordie Shore, named The Geordie Shore: The Reunion Series, Joel and his successful career was brought up by cast members who hoped he may have joined them for the reunion.
