Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei was the topic of conversation on a recent episode of ITVBe’s The Only Way Is Essex, as her long-term boyfriend Jordan Brook discussed their hopes of starting a family together.

South Shields born Sophie, joined Geordie Shore in 2011 as an original cast mate. She has appeared on the Newcastle-based reality show on and off, leaving in 2013 before returning in 2016 until 2019. During her time on the show, Sophie had a high-profile relationship with DJ and chart-topper Joel Corry.

Sophie was one of the main cast members to return to the show, for Geordie Shore: The Reunion, which focussed on the cast members as they deal with life after Geordie Shore, as well as their personal moments, including weddings, babies and more.

Upon her return to Geordie Shore, Sophie announced that she had a new boyfriend, The Only Way Is Essex star Jordan Brook. The pair have featured on each other’s respective television shows.

The couple, who became official in 2022, bought their dream home together last year, and have been making plans for their future together.

Last month, they discussed that they would begin to try for their first child together, visiting a gynaecologist in London during Geordie Shore: The Reunion, to learn more about their fertility.

Thankfully, the pair were given good news about their fertility, which was documented on the show, as Sophie teared up about the positive result.

However, Jordan revealed in a conversation with co-star Elma Pazar during a recvent episode of TOWIE that the couple were still struggling to conceive.

In the episode, Jordan says: “Two weeks before we came out here we thought she was pregnant. It’s f***ing hard man.”

Elma comforted Jordan, as she told him: “It’ll happen when it’ll happen. I know that’s so hard to hear, that’s all you want, but you have forgotten the sole reason you are together. It isn’t to have a baby together, it’s for each other.”
