Canadian singer Michael Buble arrived in Newcastle this week for his 2023 Higher Tour.

The 47-year-old heartthrob performed in Newcastle’s Utilita Arena last night on Monday, May 1. Buble will perform another show tonight in Newcastle (Tuesday, May 2).

The singer is known for his Christmas covers, as well as his own UK top ten hits such as Haven’t Met You Yet and It’s a Beautiful Day.

After arriving in Newcastle, Buble posted a TikTok video of his experience in the city while on tour.

He began the video by saying:  “Good morning everybody. I haven’t made one of these in a while.”

He went on to explain that he was in Newcastle, and said: “I just thought - you know what, I’d show you what it’s like a day on tour, leaving the hotel. So, come with me and check it out.”

In the next clip of the video, we see Buble walking towards his tour bus, where Geordie “fans” are waiting. He tells the camera: “Here is what we call massive fans… or wait, maybe they are not fans at all?”

He then stops to chat with the Geordie lads, who he describes as “autograph hunters”. He asks one of them, “how much does this s**t sell for?”, and the person replied: “Not enough.”

As more Geordie “autograph hunters” arrive, Buble laughs as he says: “You can tell these dudes have all of my s***t on their bedroom walls at home.”

He then bantered further with the lads, who tried to get an autograph from the Canadian singer.

Buble then got on the tour bus alongside his driver Graham, to travel to the venue for the tour. He commented: “Graham and I are off through beautiful Newcastle.”

Buble also made a comment on how “cool” Geordie people are. We couldn’t agree more!
