The Toon Tour will resume from Saturday, May 27 and will run daily until Sunday September 3. After that time period, the service will continue to run but on a weekend only until Sunday, October 1. The Toon Tour will not run on Sunday, September 10 due to the Great North Run 2023.

The Toon Tour will start at Central Station in Newcastle, before heading off on a circular route across Newcastle and Gateshead, passing the finest sights the region has to offer, which includes Discovery Museum, St James’ Park, Great North Museum, Ouseburn, Quayside, Millennium Bridge, Tyne Bridge, Baltic, Sage, Grey’s Monument, Grey Street, Newcastle Castle and Newcastle Cathedral.

The service will run every 30 minutes, with the first departure at 10:05am every day, and the last at 4:35pm.

Commercial Development Manager at Go North East, Dan Graham said: “With over 2,000 years of history, fantastic bridges, stunning architecture and a bright future, there’s a great deal to see and do in Newcastle and Gateshead, so there’s never been a better time to hop on board and explore.”
