Hire Mr Motivator for your Newcastle stag or hen night out!
Last Night of Freedom are offering the chance to book the TV legend.
Fancy having a celebrity guest at your stag or hen party? Gateshead-based stag and hen company Last Night of Freedom are offering a package where you can book 90’s TV legend Mr Motivator to join you on your special night.
Mr Motivator, real name Derrick Evans, rose to fame in the 90s by performing high-energy workouts on early morning television show, Good Morning Britain.
You can now book Mr Motivator to make your stag or hen even more fun!
Managing director of Last Night of Freedom, Matt Manvir, believes that celebrity guest bookings could be the next trend among the stag and hen industry.
He said: “Websites like Cameo and Memmo show people want closer interactions with celebs, so this feels like a natural evolution to that.
“We believe celebrity stag and hen interactions could become the next big thing in the sector.
“Increasingly, groups are seeking unique, immersive and memorable experiences, and this fits perfectly into that category – plus having Mr Motivator with you and your mates is going to light up your Instagram or TikTok.”
Matt goes on to explain the choice of Mr Motivator to be their first celebrity guest package. He said: “Those now tying-the-knot grew up watching Mr Motivator, and he’s an icon. He’s still got massive nostalgic appeal and you know that he’s going to be worth every penny given his infectious personality.
“He’s fun, a great sport and he’s guaranteed to offer an experience that you and your friends will remember forever.”
Mr Motivator is well-known for his endless enthusiasm, positive attitude and colourful neon unitards. After his TV career, he staged public workouts, and appeared at various festivals across the country.
Earlier this year, the 69-year-old was awarded an MBE by Prince William for his services to health and fitness, especially during the pandemic, where he performed online classes.
He is now looking forward to this new venture in his career.
“At my age you don’t get to go on as many stags as you’d like, so the prospect of doing so while meeting my fans feels really fun and exciting,” said the fitness guru.
“Since first appearing on TV almost 30 years ago, I’ve had the chance to meet some wonderful people, and I’m thrilled to do anything that gives me the chance to connect with the fans who grew up watching me.
“I think this is a brilliant, unique idea that can enhance what will already be one of the best weekends of the stag or hen’s life.
“And even if a stag or hen weekend isn’t exactly known for health and fitness, I hope I can still pass on some tips on how to stay fit and healthy when they get home.”
