Tynemouth-born Denise Welch has been on our screens for as long as we can remember and has certainly earned her place in the hearts of many fans across the UK.

From her soap-star roles, to her place on the Loose Women panel, Denise has had quite the career. Most recently, Denise starred in a pilot of a new North East-based sitcom which aired on Dave, named Dead Canny.
