King Baby Bagels is a delicious bagel shop, located in Newcastle’s Grainger Market as well as in Fenwick.

I’m an absolute foodie, and I love nothing more than trying out the exciting food offerings that Newcastle’s city centre has to offer.

With so much to try in Newcastle, I was stuck for choice at lunch time. Although I certainly have my favourites, I was eager to try something new.

With a grumbling stomach, I suddenly remembered a recommendation from a friend, who had told me to get myself to King Baby Bagels, which is located in the Grainger Market, so that’s exactly what I did.

As I arrived, I was instantly impressed by the aesthetic of the Grainger Market unit, which has a pink theme and is decorated with cool artwork and stickers.

But of course, I was mostly drawn to their impressive, inventive, bagel menu. As I studied it hard, trying to make the perfect choice for my first time trying King Baby Bagels.

Although I almost chose The O.G, which is made up of smoked salmon, cream cheese and tomatoes I was feeling a meaty vibe, so I decided to choose the Baby Ru, which includes; pastrami, emmental cheese, sauerkraut and russian dressing, with the option to add dill pickle.

Priced at only £8, with the dill pickle addition at only at extra 50p, it was certainly value for money as the bagel was absolutely huge and very filling.

With very prominent flavours, the Baby Ru bagel was absolutely delicious, exactly what I was looking for to fill my hungry stomach.

I haven’t stopped thinking about that delicious bagel since, and I will certainly be returning to King Baby Bagels to try out the rest of their exciting menu.

King Baby Bagel is open at the Grainger Market Monday 10.30am until 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday 8.30am to 4pm, and at Fenwick 11am to 4pm every day.
