The Government are discussing the possibility of reducing the isolation period to five days due to staffing shortages in the workplace.

At the moment you can leave COVID isolation after seven days, if your return a negative test result on day six and seven.

We spoke to the people of Newcastle to see what they thought about the potential changes.
