The Bristol based rockers are back touring the UK and will hit the North East this weekend.

Following on from the huge success of their fifth album Tangk, which was released towards the start of the year, Bristol based Idles are ending 2024 with a huge UK tour - including one date in Newcsatle.

The band last played in the city back in 2022 and North East fans are excited for the long awaited return.

The show will take place on Sunday, November 24.

What are the times for Idles in Newcastle?

According to the venue’s website, doors for the show oen at 7pm. Previous shows on the tour have seen the support act start at 7:30pm with the headline set starting at around 9pm.

Who is supporting Idles on their Uk tour?

The band are mixing up the support sets for this tour, with a number of acts announced. In Newcastle it will be the turn of Oxfordshire based singer-songwriter Willie J Healey.

The artists has three studio albums to his name, most recently 2023’s Bunny.

Are tickets still available for Idles in Newcastle?

Tickets for the show are sold out, although there is a chance a small handful may appear on official ticket resellers such as Ticketmaster’s resale platform and Twickets.

How to get to O2 City Hall Newcastle and parking options

Because of the city centre nature of the venue, parking around the site is very limited. John Dobson Street Car Park is the best option for those looking to drive into Newcastle for the gig. This is open until 11:30pm.

Anyone travelling by public transport has better options with Haymarket Metro station a short walk from the venue, as are Eldon Square and Haymarket bus stations.
