Information sought after Newcastle International Airport assault

Officers investigating an assault at Newcastle International Airport have released the image of a woman who they would like to trace.

Enquiries are ongoing into a report of an assault inside the terminal on the morning of May 28.

The assault was reported to police by a member of the public who witnessed the alleged attack.

Now, as part of their enquiries, officers have released the image of a woman who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

She was in the terminal at the time of the assault and could have valuable information that could assist the investigation.
