It’s BACK! Christmas in Newcastle wouldn’t be the same without Hadrian’s Tipi - when it opens & where

Christmas wouldn’t the same in Newcastle without Hadrian’s Tipi looking out over Northumberland Street.

The year has flown by and already heads are starting to turn towards Christmas and the festive period.

It's not long until Newcastle' s iconic Northumberland Street is adorned with lights and decorations as locals start buying their presents.

High street Christmas shoppers will be glad to hear that festive watering hole Hadrian's Tipi will be back once again this year.

Stack Newcastle, who are home to the Tipi, confirmed the news earlier this month and now enquiries for bookings can be made.

Hadrian's Tipi, which has become a mainstay of Christmas activities on Tyneside since its inaugural year in 2016, is the perfect winter pop-up to warm up after a day out on the town.

There's a log fire to help bring feelings to numb fingers and a bar serving a range of hot and cold drinks including mulled wine and cider, as well as championing local breweries and suppliers.

Hadrian's Tipi is suitable for all the family, group events and dog owners too.

The Tipi will open from Friday, October 22 and remain open throughout the festive period.

As usual, there will be plenty of room for walk-ins but organisers have recommended that guests book ahead of time via the website to guarantee a seat in the tipi.

Taking place in food and drink hub Stack, there's plenty to nosey at and graze on around the Tipi too.

Street food on offer comes from Acropolis, Bao Down, Thailicious and many more.

There's also a selection of boutiques selling gifts and services.

Stack Newcastle is open every day from 10 am to 12 am.
