Jade Thirlwall dresses up as Princess Jasmine for Halloween

Little Mix star, Jade Thirlwall posted a TikTok video of herself dressed up for Halloween. In the video we see Thirlwall, who is from South Shields, posing to Sam Smith’s newest viral track Unholy, which features Kim Petras.

Thirlwall, who is known for her elaborate costumes on Halloween, having previously dressed up as Marge Simpson, alongside boyfriend Jordan Stephens, who was dressed as another Simpsons character, Sideshow Bob.

This year, Thirlwall actually wore two costumes, but both were outfits from one character. She dressed up as Disney princess, Prince Jasmine from the 1992 movie Aladdin.

The first costume was a red and gold two-piece, with a purple shawl and gold statement jewellery and crown. The second costume was the most recognisable Princess Jasmine costume, a blue two piece with a matching headband and more gold jewellery. Both of these costumes are heavily enriched in royal Arabian culture. Thirlwall herself has Arabian heritage, which she is incredibly proud of.

Thirlwall auditioned for the role of Princess Jasmine in the 2019 live-action remake of Aladdin but lost out to Naomi Scott.
