James Blunt, best known for his 00s hits, is back on tour this April with Newcastle being the fourth date on the tour.

By the time Blunt will hit the North East, he will have already performed at arenas in Leeds, Bristol and Brighton in addition to a huge number of shows across Europe from France to Slovakia.

The tour is in palce as part of the promotion for Blunt's newest album, Who We Used To Be, which was released in October 2023.

According to the venue website, doors for the show are due to open at 6:30pm with music set to start from 7:45pm.

The show is expected to come to an end at 10:25pm.

The opening set will come from Lucy Spraggan. The Kent-born singer-songwriter was first introduced to the UK in 2012 on The X Factor before withdrawing due to illness.

She has since grown into a highly respected artist and released her seventh studio album in August 2023.

A very small number of tickets remain available for the gig on Ticketmaster, although others may become available in the build-up to the show on the website's resale platform. Standard available tickets start from £59.

Where to park for Newcastle’s Utilita Arena?

There are 600 official car parking places to the rear of the arena which can be reached either by Arena Way or Railway Terrace to the east.

If this car park is full, the arena recommends gig goes use the NCP car park next to the Arena, with its entrance on Redheugh Bridge Road.

The usual fee for events is £8.
