Comedian Jason Manford, aged 41 showed support for a North East based charity this week on Twitter.

The charity in question, North East Homeless are based in North Shields and provide support to homeless individuals in the area.

The charity posted a tweet tagging Jason, that explained how Jason had visited the charity, helped them to raise money and offered free tickets to his upcoming gig in Newcastle. Alongside the tweet were two images from the comedian’s time at the charity.

Jason replied, writing: “This is a wonderful cause helping people in need in the North East. See you at Newcastle Arena.”

Jason has begun his UK & Ireland stand-up tour Like Me today, starting in Hastings. He will be performing in Newcastle at the Utilita Arena on October 13. You can purchase tickets here.
