Laura Woods confirms relationship with Geordie Love Island star as fans send out warning

Sports presenter Laura Woods and Love Island star Adam Collard have confirmed their relationship after weeks of speculation.

Last month the pair sparked rumours after being spotted in a pub in County Durham. An onlooker said they looked ‘close’ and the conversation ‘intimate’ over a few drinks.

But confirmation of the relationship has seen Woods’ fans warn the pundit against dating the Geordie reality star.

The 27-year-old has completed two stints on Love Island, each time earning the reputation as a ‘player’ and ‘bad boy.’ After his 2022 appearance he was accused of cheating on Paige Thorne after the show ended.

But it seems the pair are smitten, with the Celebs Go Dating star posting a loved up photo to his Instagram story.

Perhaps unexpectedly, this has prompted widespread backlash from the 36-year-old presenter’s fans, with many of them taking to social media to voice their disdain.

“How Laura Woods- a formidable, level headed, boss lady- has come to the conclusion that Adam Collard is a good idea genuinely makes me want to get off the earth. Horrific decision making,” said one person. Another simply warned: “Laura, don’t do it!”

However one Twitter user had a very different view on the whole thing. “The discourse of men on this app because Laura Woods got a boyfriend they disapprove of, like they know her or had a chance,” they said.
