North Shields’ Liam Fender has announced that his gig at Newcastle’s Boiler Shop today (Sunday, July 14) will be brought forward so fans don’t miss England’s Euro 2024 final.
The gig is set to be Liam’s biggest ever as he teams up with the Newcastle-based Voices of Virtue gospel choir to offer a “groundbreaking” live music experience for the region.

Speaking ahead of the gig and the collaboration with Voices of Virtue, Liam said: “It's been a really good start, the project has had a great response so far.

“Everything I write comes from a real place so I guess people connect to that.
“Live-wise, I think the synergy between the band really pulls people in. It's seven guys really in the moment and loving what we're doing.

"It's about merging our stories, our passions, and our sounds to create a shared experience. It's going to be a great night.
“This will be our biggest show to date. Voices of Virtue are at the very top of their game and to hear that huge sound filling the room is definitely something I can't wait for."

Reflecting on the project, James shared his excitement, stating: "Combining Liam’s songs with this incredible choir will produce one of the most exceptional performances of the year.
“It's a testament to the power of collaboration and the magic that happens when artists from different backgrounds come together to create something truly special."
