Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall calls American rapper “a fan” on an Instagram post

Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall shared a video on her Instagram story last night (November 13). The video showed Jade, along with her friends (stylists Jamie Mcfarland and Zack Tate, and childhood friend Holly Robinson), dancing and singing from the audience of a concert.

Fans were quick to realise that the Little Mix star was at a Lil Nas X concert, after hearing his top ten hit, That’s What I Want in the background of the video.

Lil Nas X is an American rapper who burst onto this music scene back in 2019, with his track Old Town Road which shot to number one.  He is now currently on his first ever tour, named Long Live Montero. Jade attended his London show at Eventim Apollo on November 12.

Jade later posted a carousel of images and video to her Instagram feed of her with Lil Nas X after the show - with a caption that started with: “Me with a fan.” The images showed the pair taking selfies together, as well as Jade with her friends before the concert, and an image of Lil Nas X performing on the stage.

Jade and Lil Nas X have been friends since meeting at Pride London in 2019. Little Mix also performed a mash up of their 2013 song Salute and Lil Nas X’s 2021 song Industry Baby on their Confetti tour earlier this year - with Lil Nas X commenting on the performance via Twitter.
