The crazy gold chain serves more than just some funky putting, with "mad cocktails, bad puns and wicked beats" also on the cards.

Junkyard Golf Club Newcastle will take up residence on Newgate Street in the city centre and look to follow in the footsteps of successful outlets in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, London and Oxford.

Tickets for the opening days at Junkyard Golf Club are on sale now here.

Prices for tickets start at £8.50 (off-peak Sunday – Thursday) per putter, per game and £10 per putter per game on Fridays and Saturday.

Sophie-Larissa Houghton, National PR & Events manager of Junkyard Golf Club, said: “Newcastle tickets just went on sale, and we are so excited! "We are one step closer to opening our doors and welcoming the people of North East to party with us for crazy golf, cocktails and epic beats!

"We also have some surprises in store so make sure you connect with us on socials as we will be running some mega competitions and sharing some big news.”

Junkyard Golf Club Newcastle will have three 9-hole crazy gold courses littered with scrapyard slides, wrecked car parts, circus freaks, jungle bathtubs and more.

For those wanting some important hydration as they take on the holes, cocktails such as Freaky Tiki, Disco Frisco and Bubblegum Sunset will be on the menu.

The Junkyard Golf Club bars will also be open to anyone, even those not playing golf, as they aim to be a post-work drink hotspot.
