‘Made it in the Bigg Market’ Newcastle United fans make hilarious Bruno Guimaraes edit

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is currently enjoying a trip back to his home country of Brazil, taking a well deserved break with his wife.

The footballer recently married his long time partner Ana Lidia Martins in a sunrise ceremony in Rio De Janeiro, and the loved up pair are now celebrating their honeymoon in Bahia.

The 25-year-old player has uploaded a slideshow of images of himself and wife Ana to his Instagram account, captioning the adorable post: “Our honeymoon in a few pictures! Nothing better than being through this with you. My baby is my 10/10🤞🏽❤️”

Bruno also posted an image of himself on the beach at Bahia to Twitter, alongside the caption “Made in Brazil” with a Brazil flag emoji and red heart emoji accompanying the caption.

The tweet racked up over 2,000 views, and has been flooded with comments by Newcastle United fans who have taken him in as an honorary Geordie.

The comments section reflected their pride to call Bruno their own, as comments read: “And made a legend at the toon. Happy holidays Bruno”, “Forever a Geordie”, “Made in Brazil x Adored in Newcastle” and “Born in Brazil idolised in newcastle!”, among many more similar comments from fans.

One fan even went as far to create an edited image of Bruno, taking his original post and changing the background image to one of the Bigg Market in Newcastle. The image was made to look as if Bruno had posted it from his own Twitter account, alongside the caption: “Made in the Bigg Market”.
