The British group are currently touring the UK and a date in Newcastle is on the horizon.

Madness, one of the most prominent bands of the two-tone ska revival who took the charts by storm in the process, are heading out on tour again very soon.

The group will be hitting the road to promote their new album 'Theatre of the Absurd Presents C'est la Vie' which was released in mid-November and will be hitting Tyneside very soon. This is everything you need to know about the show.

When is the Madness gig in Newcastle?

The group will be performing at Newcastle's Utilita Arena on Saturday, December 2.

What are the times for Madness in Newcastle?

The Newcastle Arena website claims doors for the show will open at 6pm with music getting underway from 7:30pm.

The headline set is expected to come to an end before 10:30pm.

Who is supporting Madness on their UK tour?

The Lightning Seeds have been announced as special guests for the UK tour. Best known for football tournament anthem Three Lions, the Liverpudlian act also have songs such as The Life of Riley, Perfect and Change to their name. Their set will open nights of music across the UK.

Are tickets still available for the Madness concert in Newcastle?

Seated and standing tickets across the arena remain available for the show. Seated tickets start from £39.50 while standing floor tickets cost £50.95 each. These are available through Ticketmaster.

Where to park at Newcastle's Utilita Arena

There are 600 official car parking places to the rear of the arena which can be reached either by Arena Way or Railway Terrace to the east.

If this car park is full, the arena recommends gig goes use the NCP car park next to the Arena, with its entrance on Redheugh Bridge Road.

The usual fee for events is £8.

Other car parks around the arena include Arena Square Car Park on Ord Street and the Times Square Car Park which can be accessed from Railway Street.
