The North East’s top shopping destination Metrocentre, has announced the return of its popular event, Fashion & Beauty Takeover.

The event, which will inspire fashion and beauty enthusiasts in the region to shop at popular brands with shops located in the Metrocentre, will be jam-packed with live dance performances, fashion shows, interactive beauty demonstrations and masterclasses.

Television fashion stylist Mark Heyes, who in 2009 was included in The Guardian’s Top 100 Most Influential People in the Fashion Industry will be the host of the event. As well as hosting, Heyes will chat with the audience about his favourite fashion and beauty items available to purchase at the Metrocentre, and will uncover upcoming trends for the Spring/Summer season. 

Heyes, who is also known for working on daytime television show Lorraine, will also deliver fashion presentations, which will guide the audience through styling for the upcoming season, while incorporating trends and comfort.

Visitors at the Metrocentre’s Fashion & Beauty Takeover will be able to browse through the beauty area, where retailers from beauty brands located throughout the Metrocentre will be on hand to offer complimentary beauty treatments, expert advice, masterclasses, freebies and more.

Fashion and beauty brands set to participate in the Fashion & Beauty Takeover includes; Zara, Next, JD, Harrods Beauty and more. 

The whole event will be held in the Metrocentre’s Town Square, and will take place across two days on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28.

There will also be an exclusive VIP event held on Friday, April 26, where attendees will be able to meet Heyes and get their hands on an exciting goody bag.
