Hide AdMetrocentre bosses have confirmed that all retail shops will be closed on New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1) but will reopen on Thursday, January 2, as the January sales get underway.

Treetop Golf: The Metrocentre’s unique indoor mini-golf experience provides the perfect environment to create memorable moments with friends or family. We tested it for ourselves in December 2023 and had a lot of fun!
The Escapologist: Participants can step into a world of fantasy as they look to challenge themselves at The Escapologist. From space adventures to daring heists, this is the ideal place to put your puzzle-solving skills to the test.

Hide AdNamco Arcade: With activities such as bowling, arcade games, a Pacman soft play, dodgems, and more, Namco is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy.
Ice rink: Despite the festive period coming to an end for another year, the Metrocentre’s giant indoor ice rink is still open to both beginner and seasoned skaters.
Clip ‘n’ Climb: If heights are your thing then Clip ‘n’ Climb offers indoor climbing for all ages. It is a great activity for those looking to burn off some energy this New Year’s Day.
Odeon: You can catch the latest blockbuster movies at the Metrocentre’s Odeon cinema, with films available for all ages.
