Moosenwirt Newcastle returns to the city centre following successful first year

A pop-up Christmas bar and village is set to make a return to Newcastle City Centre this Winter, after a successful first year.

Hide AdMoosenwirt Newcastle, is ready to bring the festive cheer to the city, as it officially opens for its second year in a row on Saturday, November 18 within Newcastle’s Christmas markets.
The pop-up bar will remain open through the Christmas period, all the way through to the New Year before closing on Tuesday, January 2.
Moosenwirt Newcastle will take centre stage in its previous spot on Grey Street, right in the heart of Newcastle’s city centre, where it can be easily accessed by residents enjoying a a Christmas shopping trip or a night on the town.

Hide AdThe Alpine bar and village are set to expand on the overwhelming success and positive response they received from Newcastle last year, and will be introducing exciting new features.
Those features include a second luxury igloo dome and Elk Lodge, both of which can be booked in advance for groups.
Entry to Moosenwirt Newcastle is free, however there is a minimum spend requirement when booking the igloo domes or Elk Lodge.

Mike Hesketh, Co-founder of Moosenwirt, shared his excitement for the return: "Last year’s Moosenwirt was a phenomenal success, the Alpine Bar really added to an already great festive feeling in Newcastle’s city centre which meant it was crowned ‘The UK’s Capital of Christmas 2022’. It’s great to be back on Grey Street again and bringing back the Christmas cheer!
“This year due to the demand for group bookings, we’re bringing in a second luxury igloo dome as well as our Elk Lodge snug for private groups to book in advance, bang in the heart of the Christmas Markets.”

“Speaking of mulled wine, this year we are extending our range and importing from German many more mulled wine options such as ‘Rose Glühwein’, ‘Strawberry-Vanilla’ as well as ‘Baked Apple’ cider”
Moosenwirt Newcastle will be open from 10am until 11pm every day, with live music from 3pm.
