Revision and exams feel like a lifetime away and the long summer is starting to wind down for many. This week sees A Level students across the region pick up their results with many finding out if they will be attending university in September.

There is no better place to celebrate, or commiserate, than in the bars, pubs and clubs of Newcastle, many of whom are opening their doors for special results day nights on Thursday, August 17.
