New Sam Fender album People Watching: What we know so far including release date and more

That’s right. The album which propelled the North Shields local to global stardom was released back in October 2021 and fans are now eagerly awaiting the third full length release from the star.
Since the release of the album, fans have been able to enjoy one full release from Fender - a live recording of his headline show at Finsbury Park in London which took place back in July 2022.

Hide AdSince then the North Tyneside star has gone on to play at Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage as well as two incredible sold out shows at Newcastle United’s St James Park.
However, Fender himself and shared on social media that the much anticipated third album is completed with the mastering process finished in mid-October.
What will Sam Fender’s third album be called?
On Wednesday, November 13 Fender gave a further update on the album including its name. Much like the first single from the release, which is set to be put to the world on Friday, November 15, the labum will be called ‘People Watching’.

The posts to social media also told fans the album will be released on Friday, February 21.
The posts to social media read: “So happy to announce our third album ‘People Watching’ is coming out Feb 21st.
“Me and the band have picked away at these songs for the last couple of years, we recorded so much material in that time and deliberated long and hard over what came next.
“We settled on this collection for our next outing. Special thanks to Dean and Joe who have been with me every step of the way, they are incredible producers in their own right and I’m eternally proud and grateful for them both.
“The band has really evolved in this time, I’m a lucky fucker to be surrounded by such a talented bunch.”
