Newcastle-based cocktail brand launch first pop-up shop in John Lewis

Newcastle cocktail creators, Kocktail have announced that they will be opening their very first pop-up located in Eldon Square’s John Lewis.

The award-winning independent cocktail brand became available to purchase from John Lewis in 2022, but this is the first time that they have had a physical presence within a department store.

Kocktail co-founder, Andrew Hutchinson, said: “We wanted to do something truly unique for our first instore pop-ups with John Lewis. It’s a proud moment for us to open the first pop-up in our hometown store in Newcastle. 

“When we launched just three years ago, we couldn’t have imagined where it would take us and seeing the Kocktail shopping space brought to life is an incredible feeling for myself and the whole team. We hope shoppers can be inspired and enjoy the space as much as we’ve loved creating it.”

The brand which sells ready-to-drink bottled cocktails, designed and made by professional bartenders, sell various  flavours such as Passionfruit Martini, Negroni, Espresso Martini and Old Fashioned to name only a few. They are also known to launch special limited edition drinks for special occasions.

Speaking of limited edition drinks from Kocktail, the brand has announced a brand-new Christmas flavour, the Candy Cane Martini.

As part of their new pop-up, Kocktail will be offering a free personalisation service, where customers can create their own label for their Kocktail of choice, making it the ideal gift for a cocktail-lover this Christmas.
