A Newcastle and Gateshead Indian fusion restaurant is celebrating, after winning a prestigious award, after competing against some of the top restaurants in the UK.

Indian fusion dining gem, Raval Restaurant were the worthy winners of the Best Fine Dining award at National Asian Restaurant Awards 2023, and were delighted to bring the award home to the North East.

Manager of Raval Restaurant, Nas Islam said: "As proud Northerners, we’ve not only held our own but soared high in the fine dining scene, showcasing the North East as a culinary powerhouse to reckon with.

Raval Restaurant have announced a fantastic offer in celebration of their win and as a way to thank their loyal customers, which will run in conjunction with NE1 Newcastle Restaurant Week which will take place from Monday, August 7 until Sunday, August 13 - despite being located just outside of the NE1 postcode.
