Newcastle International Airport unveil plans for luxury executive lounge

Newcastle International Airport have announced that their executive lounge area, which is provided by Aspire and owned by Swissport International, will be undergoing refurbishment.

Hide AdThe announcement marks a £1.7 million investment in the passenger experience, which is expected to be completed in early 2024.
The six month project will see the executive lounge being fully refurbished, which will also include an extension to the facility.
The brand-new area which people can enjoy before boarding, has been designed in collaboration with award-winning DV8 Designs, a commercial interior design company.

Hide AdThe new lounge will be able accommodate over 100 additional passengers, and will have three product tiers on offer.
Food and beverage options will be available across all product tiers, as well as charging facilities, high speed internet, digital magazines and newspapers and HD television.
The highest product tier, Aspire Premium will launch luxury table service, with freshly prepared meals and dedicated staff.

This development is testament to our longstanding, and collaborative, partnership with Aspire and we are very much looking forward to passengers experiencing the final product.
“As the North East’s largest Airport, we are committed to providing the best possible passenger experience and this development forms an important part of a multi-million-pound investment in the security search area and departure lounge food and beverage facilities ahead of the Summer 2024 season.”
